This location was pretty mediocre. The service of the Brooklyn one was definitely better and in Brooklyn they use actual dishes and silverware rather than one time use spoons and chopsticks which I’m not a fan of. It’s a smaller shop so there’s less space and it’s seat yourself with maybe 4 tables and a bar seating of 5-6 people. They didn’t give us the tray when we usually have it to eat from/put our utensils down while we eat. But everyone else kept their trays so it was a bit confusing as to why. They took the plastic bowl off the tray and took it away. The portions are a bit smaller since it is served in a take out container but still the same food! Still love the food, just different ambience from the other two locations as it’s the smallest and in Bayside so it’s a bit further.

I forgot to take a photo of the soup, but here’s a photo of the dry pot! In general, this place is good. I don’t think the flavors are memorable. The broth in the soup tasted like it came from a powder mix as opposed to actual bone broth. That being said. It was a very generous portion of food and it is a good deal for your dollar! I will likely go back to try other items, but I won’t repeat the soup order. Lastly, the fish that they claim is flounder is actually more like a bottom feeder cat fish flavor. It was too strong for the powder soup broth. I would suggest not ordering the “flounder” fish.

My favorite soup spot in Bayside. Best fresh pork bone broth. Fresh meats and ingredients, friendly staff and chef. Highly recommend.

Great small hot pot shop. I was traveling solo, in the mood for hotpot. This place was perfect. Personal size hotpot. Pro tip - just walk up to the register, that’s where the menus are. The signs on the wall don’t have any prices. They’re pretty flexible with the menu, meaning if you want to mix and match it isn’t a problem.

Could work on service but the food was great and the atmosphere was extremely clean. Price point was perfect and the spice level was just right for someone who doesn’t like mala xiang guo too spicy.

Very good hot pot if you don’t want to spend more than $25 per person. You just order and then can sit on any tables. Would recommend to come with friends!
